Q2 Week 7 - Watercolor

This took me a long while, about 3 and a half hours. I think it's because I'm a perfectionist when it comes to my work, so I really wanted it to be the best it could be. I used my watercolors on this and I like the way it turned out. I knew it would be challenging when I drew it, but I got a little bit lost trying to do all the details on the headpieces, so I made it more simple. Here are my layer and progress photos. I did about 3 layers.

    I cannot get over the contour and shading! It is stunning! I really appreciate the color pop on the eyes and the lips.
